Lino print in two colours, 2005.
Printed in yellow over blue.
I used a product from Rowney which allows you to use oil paint as printing ink. You cannot use oil paint on its own. For the background colour I used the Rowney medium plus phthalocyanine blue oil paint and a little black printing ink, and the image is printed in white printing ink with a little cadmium yellow oil paint plus medium.
The image is derived from one by Parmigianino.
