flying fairies
An unusual commission from Boston, Massachusetts
My friends and I are working on a poster campaign to alert the public in North America of the impending energy crisis. Now... how's this for a sequitur: we are looking for a black and white line or charcoal drawing of two flying fairies holding up a banner.
The fairies were to look light-hearted, charming and old-fashioned. I think these do. They are both modelled on the same Victorian statuette of a cherub viewed from different angles and I have simply thinned out their limbs a little to make them look a bit older.
I'm still waiting to see the final version of the poster in which my artwork will appear. If it appears on the web I'll post a link here.
