William Blake links

God blessing the seventh day. Pen and watercolour. William Blake c. 1800
From a private collection: the subject of an export ban according to Church Times, London 27 October 2000.
- The Blake Multimedia Project: from here you can download entire William Blake illuminated books with commentary, in the form of hypercard stacks (Apple Mac only). There are also other Blake links.
- The William Blake Archive, a searchable database of words and images from William Blake.
- An essay on Why Mrs Blake Cried. It is said William Blake did not rule out sexual experimentation on account of convention, but on account of the feelings of his wife. I read that there are some sexually explicit drawings in the manuscript of Vala, or The Four Zoas, but I have been unable to find these on the web. The manuscript belongs to the British Museum.
