Oil on canvas, 7"x4.5" (179x117mm - but who really wants to know the exact number of millimetres?), 2004.
This tiny painting of a female putto dressed as Athena was inspired by a small resin-marble cast sculpture I bought cheaply: I assume the sculpture is a reproduction of something more expensive. I invented the background. Someone bought this painting for an absurdly low amount of money. I should make a rule never to sell a painting for less than the cost of framing it.
